Meet your tutor

I'm Evelien Baas

I was born in the Netherlands and came to New Zealand as a student. I fell in love with the country and moved to New Zealand in 2000.

With an MSc in Animal Husbandry specialising in economics, I’ve spent over 20 years helping New Zealand farmers take control of their finances. From working as a farm accounting software trainer, being in an equity partnership, to running my own agricultural bookkeeping business, I’ve seen what works - and what doesn’t.

Many contract milkers struggle because they sign agreements without understanding or evaluating the financial impact. They haven't asked the right questions and do not know where the pitfalls are or how to plan for the tax payments and the ACC bills. 

I’m here to change that. My goal is to give you the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and build a thriving contract milking business.
